A big spruce, rigged down in pieces

This spruce got stressed, and bugs go after a stressed tree like lions on the savanna.

We climbed up, took the branches off, and rigged the trunk down in pieces so no 500 lb log could bounce into something it wasn't supposed to. The firewood went to a grandpa who wanted it for making s'mores with his grandkids.
