Privacy policy
This site is run by Serenity Tree Care, based in Lehi, Utah. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site or ask for a bid, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you request a bid, we receive the details you choose to send: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and anything you tell us about your tree, including photos.
How we use it
We use it to reply to your request, prepare your bid, and schedule and complete the work. That may include calling, texting, or emailing you about your project.
How bid requests reach us
Your bid request reaches our inbox at SerenityTreeTrimming@gmail.com in one of two ways.
When the form is working normally, our website sends your details to us through an email service (Resend). The website itself does not keep a copy.
If the website can't send it, the form opens your own email app with your request already filled in. You choose whether to send it. In that case nothing passes through our website at all.
Photos you text or email to us come to our phone or inbox.
Our website host (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to run the site and protect it from abuse.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 on every page of this site to see how people use it. It tells us which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (city or region, not your address), what kind of device and browser they use, and when someone taps a call, text, email or bid button. When a bid request is sent, it records the city, service and timing picked on the form. It does not receive your name, phone number, email or property address.
Google Analytics uses cookies (small files named _ga) to tell one visit from the next. They can stay in your browser for up to 2 years. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Google may use the data it collects under its own policies, including for advertising. We may also use analytics or advertising tools, including Google's, to show our ads to people who may be interested in our services.
To limit this, you can: turn off personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com; install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; or block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same either way.
Our fonts are stored on our own site. Right now, Google Analytics is the only outside service that loads on these pages. If we add other analytics or advertising tools, we'll list them here.
Our site does not change what it does when your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. You can still use the opt-out above.
What we never do
We do not sell the name, phone number, email or address you send us. SMS opt-ins and phone numbers are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
Text messages
If you text us or agree to be contacted, we may text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.
Questions
For privacy questions, or to see, correct, or delete the information you sent us, email SerenityTreeTrimming@gmail.com or call or text (907) 440-2019.
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
